Custom Kicks by S4 of Sole Creations

Got the chance to do some customs for myself.  I seen several different versions of a gladiator much like that one by several different artists.  Wish I could give credit to whoever the original artist is.  Anyway, these were based off of my name in a few ways, my real name Roman, the custom name I go by S4 as well as the business name Sole Creations.  So those are all included into the theme of the shoe and I used a Roman gladiator as well as the colosseum as a way to represent my name.  I also tried to include a little grafitti-”ish” flare with the arrows.  I am not a graf artist but I do admire the work they do.

These are a pair of adidas’ for my girlfriend, she crossed AKA back in 2001.  The date April 8th 1908/2001 on the shoes is significant for a couple of reasons.  1908 is when the AKA was founded at Howard University which was the first black sorority. April 8th, 2001 was when my girlfriend crossed and became an AKA, her name as you can see is Ayla.  If you’re familiar with the sorority you know about Skeeee-wee! and the pinkies in the air.  Hope you all like.   

These were done for my Aunt, she provided the shoes, which I wish were a different pair but it turned out okay anyway. The shoes started off white with grey nike symbol stitchings/tag.  Simple design, don’t know if I’ll do words like that again.  Cuz they didn’t come out the way I hoped. check em.

A pair of naruto kicks I did for my little cousin, as you can see above the naruto logo is her name Hunter.

next to barack is the word fruition. Next to MLK giving his speech is the word prophecy.  On the toe of the MLK shoe has the quote of Dr. King when he prophesied that he believed we would have a black president in 40 years or less. Even though the barack theme has been done over and over again I thought that it was worth it to create my own version for black history month last month. Hope you all like them.
